Les Mills are heavily brand focused, meaning consistency is essential in their design outputs. True leaders in the global fitness game, they are always evolving, setting trends - not following them.

Working at Shoot the Moon I was able to get involved in numerous campaigns with well known brands such as; Ciroc, Diageo, Red Bull, as well as local idenities like Hearts Football Club.
Working at New Idea I have had some amazing opportunities to work on some exclusive feature pages as well as some exciting and informative local stories. Each week we are presented with a different challenge, needing to rearrange images and text like a jigsaw puzzle in order to produce the most attractive layout.
The fashion spreads were extensive and changed every week. There is always a theme (style, colour etc). The outfits were created around a celebrity image, and there were several options that were shown ranging in prices. These pages were a jigsaw puzzle, adapting sizes of pieces and moving them around to compliment each another.
The weekly beauty pages in the magazine offered readers advice and tips on the hottest trends linked with what their favourite celebrities were doing. My role is to take all the information and present it in a way that is eye catching, informative and makes the reader compelled to purchase these products.
Working at New Idea magazine I have had the opportunity to work on Girlfriend magazine as well (within APN Media). I learnt production skills and how the magazine ran. Working across publications gave me an insight into different target audiences and allowed me more creative freedom in designing layouts using varying design styles and elements.
Working at Thoughtfields I had the opportunity to interact with clients Wild Pair & Lippy. I was lucky enough to be involved with their print advertisment such as posters, flyers, billboards, swing tags, price points and look books etc. As well as designing digital emails to be sent to Wild Pair members, and constructing blog adverts.
